The Craft of Dowsing
with John Ward KT

'The craft of Dowsing is not an art it is a state of the body, mind and Spirit where you become oneness with the surrounding universe...'

Introduction to the craft of Dowsing...

Have you ever wondered why, when you are walking along and you suddenly feel a chill and the hairs on the back of your neck raise: as the old saying goes someone has just walked over your grave. Or maybe you have experienced cold or hot patches in a particular space.
These experiences and others are connected; they are in a way, a form of dowsing. Where instead of utilizing the commonly seen ‘L’ rods or ‘Y’ shape tree branch you are instead using your body as a giant dowsing rod.

Dowsing can and will open many fascinating magical and spiritual doorways, it is not just a matter of walking and divining for water. Dowsing can enhance or even provide an extension to your third eye and in turn enhance the vibration felt through all our Charkas, bringing you into ONENESS with the universe.

Egypt offers the dowser many opportunities and experiences. There are many sacred and spiritual sites scattered throughout the land known as Egypt. And while not all of these are especially sacred a good proportion do follow the not so well known natural architectural patterns of mother earth’s geometry.

John dowsing at Habu Temple

Many of the temples and especially that of say ‘Karnak’ will be one of the sites that we will visit during the more advanced courses. Karnak is especially sacred and follows all of the laws previously mentioned and for a dowser is a truly wonderful and enlightening experience.

What is Dowsing?…

Dowsing has been around for thousands of years, its main use is of course to divine for water, during the middle ages divining was categorised as witch craft, and if one was caught with a dowsing rod or stick then you would surly burn.
Thankfully this practice no longer exists, and we can walk freely dowsing to our hearts content, though you may still raise a few eyebrows.

One can find out many things both practically and spiritually through dowsing. Whatever your reasons are for wishing to learn the craft you will never quite look at the world with the same eyes after learning this wonderful and sometimes revealing craft.

John dowsing at Dendera Temple

The most common use as previously mentioned is water diving but you will soon discover that ley lines and other energy sources will soon be at your finger trips.

How you interpret these energies is up to you, for instance if you are lucky enough to have located a hotspot or node then you will be able to proceed and dowse to investigate the various vibrational manifestations through EMF, Light and non audible acoustic wavelengths. All this can be learnt through our courses and as we have already mentioned this opens many doors on many different levels of spirituality and dimensions. We mention the word dimensions loosely at this juncture but it is something that is beginning to play a major part in the world of professional dowsers.

‘You do not have to be a spiritualist or spiritually minded to be a dowser. Dowsing can be fun and sometimes rewarding it can be especially fun as a family activity.’

.

Methods and ways to dowse...

Rods:
There are many different types of dowsing rods available today, ranging from very expensive metal to the gift from nature in the way of a ‘Y’ shaped tree branch. With our courses we offer our students a gift of standard ‘L’ shaped rods, we make each set of rods to fit each student personally, this way the rods are not only just personal to the dowser but also will react to the specific measurements of their hands and provide hopefully accurate results from the questions that are posed to them.

Pendulums:
The use of pendulums is another way to dowse, where one can use a crystal or even a metal weighted object at the end of a line. When questions are posed by the dowser the pendulum will move. Very much like the rods which can be used, the pendulum will sway in specific manor which will give an answer.
Through our courses we offer a selection of highly vibrational white crystal pendulums which are available to purchase.

Dowsing

Remote dowsing
Is probably one of the most rewarding methods and if you have read the reference to hub caps within this leaflet and you have been fortunate to have enrolled on a course with us then you will be familiar with this connotation.
Remote dowsing allows you to dowse a specific location without actually being there! With the use of a map (printed or hand drawn) or a picture you can dowse from the comfort of your home without stepping outside.
This application has been widely criticised during investigations into missing persons where professional dowsers have been employed by various police forces around the world to intervene and help with investigations, with, we might add, positive results!

Information...

John Ward KT, Dowser & Tutor.

John currently resides in Egypt with his wife and three children having emigrated from England, he is an amateur Egyptologist and historian currently writing a book using the craft of dowsing to help with the research.

John has been dowsing professionally for a few years now, and has been asked to talk to various groups on the results of his dowsing outcomes in England, Egypt and Belgium.

‘I personally have used the craft of dowsing to enable me to discover certain discrepancies in historical information.
Following ley lines and locating certain items and even lost hub caps!’

You do not have to be a spiritualist or spiritually minded to be a dowser. Dowsing is rewarding, it can be especially fun for all the family.
