Dakhla is probably the most picturesque of the Oasis's in the Western Desert. Once again though as other desert areas the town itself only offers refreshments, accommodation and as always that friendly warm welcome.

There are though many smaller sites or villages in the area that are well worth a visit.
Don't forget that the desert scenery is also a site with an opportunity to take a 4x4 into the dunes and experience the real desert.
