Known as 'Abu al Hul' meaning a father of terror or a more commonly known as 'The Sphinx'.

It is reputably older than the Pyramids. The Sphinx stands at their feet with modern Cairo slowly creeping towards its paws. Having the body of a lion and the head of a human it is probably one of the most photographed monuments in the whole of Egypt.
