Valley of The Queens

Lying South West of the the Theban Hills lay the Valley of the Queens. Home to 80 tombs used since the 18th Dynasty but only used as a Royal resting place since the 19th Dynasty. Many of the tombs are not open to the public. The most visited is that of Nefertari with its restored colourful murals. Worth visiting if you have the time.
